Can I first say how delighted I was to be asked to be OBT captain for 2015.

Having looked at a number of venues I have finally decided on the Hodson Bay Hotel in Athlone. If you look it up online at hodsonbayhotel.com you will see the numerous facilities and activities available. It really does seem to tick all the boxes and should suit young and old alike.

The weekend is booked for the 3rd/4th of July 2015 so please “putt” it in your diaries marked NB! I’d love to see as many as possible there. 30 rooms have been provisionally booked.

If you are booking anything please look for Gavin Byrne and quote the reference number OBT 15 to ensure you get the correct pricing/package.

Hotel Accommodation & Prices
2 nights B&B and 1 dinner – €149 per person sharing/€199 single
1 night B&B and 1 dinner – €99 per person sharing/€139 single

Please note that the golf (see below) is being organised separately – you don’t pay the hotel for the golf. It’ll all be organised and paid for on the day.

Children’s Prices
Children ages 0-3 go free, aged 4-12 @ €10 per night, aged 13-16 @ €25 per night

Meal
Meal only – Adults @ €29 per person, children @ €13 (choose from kids menu or half portion of adults menu)

Golf
Golf only – €25 per person +€5 for prizes
Golf buggy €25 per buggy
